Guide to Restaurant Review Listings

My standard restaurant review listing looks like this:

Restaurant Name+/- (Rating) Price Dress
Address, Telephone

Here's what the fields mean:

Restaurant Name -> duh!

+/- -> An optional indication of whether a restaurant is particularly recommended (+) or not recommended (-) for some reason.

Rating -> My rating of the restaurant on a five star scale. See my ratings page for details.

Price -> Estimated cost on a three dollar sign scale. $ is cheapo, $$ is mid-priced, and $$$ is stratospheric.

Dress -> How to dress. Choices are Casual (wear jeans and a T-shirt), Informal (slacks or khakis and a nicer shirt), or Formal (jacket and/or tie). Women match clothes appropriately.

Address/Telephone -> duh!

The header info is followed by a blank line and then my short textual review. Here is an example:

Cafe Oh-My-God (**) $$ Casual
777 E. 33rd St., (555) 232-2221

This ultra-trendy experimental Italian is bit too weird for my taste, but it's not bad and is definitely a welcome change from standard Southern Italian.
