Where Does He Get All Those Wonderful Toys?

Ok, so you wanna know about my stuff. After 2 1/2 years my 300 MHz Pentium II exploded. In fairness to the deceased vendor, it was probably my fault for leaving it on 24x7 in my overheated attic while the air vents were blocked up with cat hair. :-)

I'm now sporting a new IndyBox chassis, with a lot of components salvaged from my old computer:

256 MB SDRAM
30 GB UltraATA hard drive
50X ATAPI CD-ROM

In theory this system is four times as powerful as my old. However, since RedHat comes with Gnome pre-installed as the desktop environment, I don't notice any speed improvements. :-( I want my fvwm back.

In addition to this main system I've got a lot of, well, junk. At least it is junk until I get around to setting it up to do something useful. This includes an old NextStation, a 486DX running OS/2 Warp (!) and lots of stray components.
